Efficiency is not something most people regularly think about. We don’t ask ourselves every minute of the day, “How can I accomplish this in the fastest and most efficient way possible?” Think of it as an ‘APP’ running in the background, assisting us with the hundreds of mundane decisions we must 
make every day. Personally, efficiency is a thought process, a way of life, and it takes time and practice to develop. It’s that little voice in our head that reminds us to carry a pail of water with us when we go to the hen house to collect the eggs, so we don’t have to water the chickens later. Research has shown that the average person spends about ten minutes a day looking for misplaced items like keys, phones, or other personal or household items. That’s sixty hours a year, or a full 25 days in a ten year time span. The solutions to these little mishaps are simple, but sometimes they’re just overlooked and not part of that ‘thought process.’ People will rarely say that they are an efficiency expert, but those who are – are far more productive! Or, at least, have a little more free time to pursue other interests.
